Meet Sammy: A positive fun-loving little boy with a dinosaur OBSESSION. Sammy holds a unique light and a special gift of unwavering positivity, even amid hardship. Sammy has been in and out of the hospital since birth battling bone cancer. Receiving bone marrow transplants never got his spirits down. He has contagious energy and amplified his love for nature, teamwork, and Jurassic Park characters through Cuddles and Comfort. He taught us so much about resilience, strength, and inspiration. Notably saying, “practice makes perfect” when making mistakes while and “everything is better in a team” during storybook workshops. Sammy is a model of how to keep your sparkle even amid dark time periods and we all have something to learn from his energy and light.
