About Us

Cuddles and Comfort is a project created by two high schoolers based in Los Angeles, California. Abby Weinstein and Maya Billik aim to bring comfort and inspiration to children in need by helping them embrace their creativity and imagination. Abby and Maya grew up together and have fond memories of joy from their childhood which they hope they can create for kids who need it most.

Childhood and adolescence is such an important and formative time period for the future of our world and society. Some children spend their childhood in the hospital. Our mission is to bring cuddles and comfort to these children and bolden their confidence by showing them how their unique gifts can add to the light and creativity in our world.

With the help of https://www.budsies.com/about/ and https://coachart.org/ , Abby and Maya are able to bring children’s art and storytelling to life. We work with Budsies to transform their artwork into loveable, plushie, stuffed animals and we work together to make their incredible imaginative ideas into hardcover short storybooks. It is our mission to ensue that even amid adversity, children remember who they are and feeling assured in their minds and ideas.
